MACEDONIA EDUCATION AND SCIENCE MINISTER.
BTA
Sofia, July 16 (BTA) - A Macedonian delegation headed by Education and Science Minister Nenad Novkovski will arrive in Bulgaria on Wednesday at the invitation of Education and Science Minister Vladimir Atanassov.
The sides will conclude an Agreement on Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovations. The document will regulate bilateral cooperation in the design of joint projects under EU research initiatives and of regional research programmes.
The agreement will encourage two-way exchange of scientists, experts, innovations, technology and other scientific information. It will allow mutual access to special scientific equipment and the establishment of enterprises and "competence centres."
In the course of two days, experts of the Bulgarian-Macedonian Commission on Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovations will discuss joint research projects. The sides will define relevant financial conditions and obligations and timeframes for the implementation of mutual accords.
